The enlightening seminar “Web3 Connect: Future of Asset Standards: Tokenization Framework” has been successfully organised by Cyberport Hong Kong at Web3 Living Lab at Cyberport on 28 November 2024.
Our Founder & CEO of Coinstreet, SAMSON (SAM) LEE, who is also a Member of the IX Asia Tokenization Advisory Committee, was honored to participate with the esteemed speakers, Irene OL Wong (黃愛玲), Founder & CEO of IX Capital International Limited, and William G., Member of the IX Asia Tokenization Advisory Committee, in this event.
During the seminar, they shared insights from their experiences of tokenization initiatives and tokenization standards. The five pillars of tokenization standards are highlighted including Infrastructure & Basis of Tokenization, Classification, Business and Financial Stability, Internal Controls and Security and Legal and Regulatory Compliance. It is crucial to have a common standard on tokenisation as it can reduce costs across global exchanges, improve efficiency, and help people understand smart contracts, fostering trust in blockchain finance.
